The group has participated in numerous international manifestations among which the most prominent are:
The association has participated in the most important meetings of the island’s folklore and has carried out some musical projects with the cooperation of Piero Marras (Andalas), Collegium Karalitanum, Eddy Angelini, Tenors Remunnu ‘e Locu from Bitti and many other artists
Its participation in the celebrations for the “Bicentennial Angioiano” which took place in the Verdi Theatre in Sassari in 1996 raised a great deal of success. During this performance, the popular hymn by I. F. Manno “Su Patriottu Sardu a sos Feudatarios” sung by the soprano Rosy Orani was accompanied by the launeddas on music by the Goccius; the launeddas then performed the Marseillaise hymn (the French anthem).
During the celebrations for “Sa Die de sa Sardigna” (1999) the group also performed in Biella (Northern Italy) as guest of the Sardinian Cultural Circle “Su Nuraghe”.
On the occasion of the 20° International Mariological-Marian Congress, in the 2000 Jubilee year, Cuncordia a Launeddas participated in the Concert dedicated to Maria Mater Mundi, held in the Nervi Room, Vatican, with the artistic direction of Patricia Adkins Chiti.
A particularly important event, on the occasion of the extraordinary concert for the ceremony of the Maecenas Prize 2001, was the participation in the musical Drama “Mediterranean Universe: voices and sounds of the seas”, directed by Italo Gomez and Elizabeth Brusa, which took place in Milan, in the S. Mark basilica, in May 2001.
